    Zaia

It began with a Rabbit and ended with the Dragon.

A year full of turbulence, tracked with bumpy ups and downs.
But we were at Cirque, and that was all that mattered.
Living on the shores of a man made island, Macau was the birthplace of Zaia.

Our new 13 person troupe was to perform in the Venetian Macau, the worlds largest casino, for the worlds largest circus.

Having spent 2 months working in Israel, flying and teaching at a water park, basking in the Mediterranean Seas, I flew back to California to commence training under the Circus Vargas tent.

Just a few months later, with a couple of injured rotator cuffs, we landed in Macau and began our journey to another dimension on New Years Eve 2011.

Whilst I was on Zaia, I had a great opportunity to be the back up Zaia character, which bought a whole new level to my experience as a performer.
